Marketing Manager for Distribution at Cisco

We are looking for a MARKETING MANAGER FOR MANAGED SERVICES in the Services Channels organization. He/She will be responsible for collaborating with multiple stakeholders to develop and execute the managed services marketing strategy and plan. The candidate will require at minimum 8 years experience, including a strong channel marketing background, sales/field experience, relationship/partner management and business development depth of experience. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Global Service Channels & Alliance Marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for development, execution and analysis of strategic global channel marketing plans for Services Channels, Managed Services
- Translate marketing capabilities into actionable strategy and plans to support achievement business goals
- Work with multiple, cross-functional organizations to identify and gather Managed Services requirements and focus on appropriate priorities
- Work with theater teams to launch global plan and guide theater specific plans
- Capture, share and implement channel marketing best practices throughout geographies
- Provide original content to Marcom team for communication deliverables and collaborate to develop value propositions, messaging, go-to-market strategy
- Collaborate with WW Channels and Services Provide Marketing counterparts to integrate into global Managed Services marketing plans
- Analyze channel marketing campaigns on a quarterly basis, measuring performance as well as investment recap based on ROI metrics and present to key stakeholders
- Manage structure for determining and driving metrics for success
- Develop ongoing process improvements to ensure timely delivery of channel marketing programs and materials to theatres
- Ability to articulate an overall vision and strategy and to drive teams to achieve it
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Service Provider & partner channel marketing experience in a high tech environment
- Services marketing experience (marketing intangibles)
- Global channel marketing experience and ability to build and lead cross-functional, cross- geographic teams
- Develop and implement marketing strategy
- Market research and analysis
- Competitive analysis
- Interest and/or experience with Web 2.0 technologies
- Building Go-to-Market plans
- Ability to communicate to all levels of management
- Strong business, communications, project management and operational skills
- Branding, copyright, and creative/intellectual property contractual knowledge
- Strong written and oral presentation skills
- Ability to project manage multiple large and complex projects
- Superior interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
- Ability to negotiate and influence actions of team members outside your reporting chain
- Ability to resolve conflicts
- Ability to identify, prioritize and deliver tangible results using sound business practices
- Ability to innovate and define new tools and practices and maintain knowledge of industry best practices
- Knowledge of Cisco services and organization is an asset
Typically requires BS/BA degree or equivalent plus 8 years related experience. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
